As the Board Chairperson of the Spryfield Farmers Market, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of the amazing members of our community who have helped make this year's market possible. This includes our hardworking volunteers and board members, who helped make this year a resounding success, as well as our dedicated vendors who bring their unique products, passion, and energy to each market.
It's hard to believe that we started with just a few tents and tables, and with the support of Patty Cuttell, Councillor District 11 Spryfield - Sambro Loop - Prospect Rd, our dedicated volunteer board, and our fantastic community members, we were able to create a market that brought people together and provided a space for local farmers and vendors to showcase their products.
I want to thank each and every one of our volunteers for your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment to making the Spryfield Farmers Market a special place where people can gather, shop, and socialize. Whether you were behind a booth, helping with setup and tear down, or spreading the word about our market, your contributions were invaluable.
I also want to extend a special thank you to our vendors, who are the heart and soul of the market. It is your products, passion, and warmth that creates the close-knit community that is so important at the Spryfield Farmers Market. Your commitment to quality and your dedication to providing a warm, welcoming experience for our customers is truly inspiring.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of the amazing members of our community who have helped make this year's Nourishing Communities Program such a success. From our participants, to Farmers Market Nova Scotia, to our incredible community partners at Chebucto Connections, Chebucto Family Center, and St. Paul's Family Resource Institute, it truly takes a village to make a program like this come to life.
